UK based Hindi writers, teachers, journalists and organisations recognised for their contributions

On the occasion of World Hindi Day, High Commission of India, London has been honouring several UK based Hindi writers, teachers, journalists and organizations for their contribution to the Hindi language in the UK every year since 2006. With the approval of the High Commissioner of India, following Hindi awards for the years 2021 and 2022 have been announced. Along with this, the winners of the year 2019 will also be felicitated this year as the program was deferred due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

These awards consist of cash prizes, shields, shawls, and citations.
Apart from this the High Commission of India in London is also giving a grant of £250 each for the publication of Hindi book (‘Vishranti ke pal’) written by Ashutosh Kumar for year 2019, (‘Ek adhoori kahani …Zindagi’) written by Smt. Swati Patel ”Raahi” for the year 2021 and (‘Kehkashaan’) written by Shri Gyan Sharma, for the year 2022 under Lakshmi Mal Singhvi Pustak Prakashan Yojna.
