The Apprentice 2022 winner Harpreet Kaur announces engagement with co-star
Harpreet Kaur, the winner of BBC’s The Apprentice 2022, has announced that she is engaged to her co-star on the show – Akshay Thakrar.
The couple first met each other on the sets of the show, when both were competing to bag a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar.
They began a relationship soon after the show ended and Kaur emerged the winner. It was revealed that they were friends at first, which Kaur has described as “blossoming” into something more.
They shared the happy news on Instagram, where Thakrar is seen down on one knee and popping the question to the love of his life. The venue was adorned by magnificent red rose petals, candles and sparklers to celebrate the engagement.
Writing on his Instagram, Thakrar announced the news on behalf of the couple as he told followers: “I would find you in any lifetime.
“Our journey began in the most unexpected way. Now it’s time to begin our forever chapter. She said yes.”
He concluded: “Thank you to everyone who helped me create this special moment @the_proposalplanners @londondiamonddealer @shivaniphotography.”
