Glasgow-based Peshawari restaurant does catering for a prestigious Burns night event

Namak Mandi, the award winning Glasgow based restaurant, had the esteemed honour of catering for the 8th Annual Glasgow Afghan United Burns/Rumi Supper, a Burns Night event held at Glasgow City Chambers on the 18th of January.
This highly anticipated occasion was attended by approximately 250 individuals, including some notable figures such as Rt Hon Jacqueline McLaren Lord Provost of Glasgow, Professor Stephen Gethins, Anas Sarwar MSP Leader of the Scottish Labour Party, Christina McKelvie MSP, Minister for Equalities and Older People as well as Sabir Zazai OBE, Mr Khalid Javid and Mr Abdul Bostani.

Namak Mandi’s Bridge Street location offers a unique and authentic Peshawari cuisine to the entirety of Scotland. The restaurant prides itself on its philanthropic work and regularly provides food for the homeless.
A spokesperson from Namak Mandi conveyed their deep appreciation stating, “We were incredibly humbled and honored to be part of this prestigious event which allowed us to showcase our remarkable Peshawari Cuisine in the presence of such a distinguished gathering.
