Actress and entrepreneur Priscilla Presley dines out with her team at an Indian restaurant in Glasgow

It’s no secret that Indian food has a massive fanbase the world over, and that doesn’t exclude high profile celebrities.
Staff at a popular Indian restaurant in Glasgow were left stunned when they were visited by Hollywood royalty on 30 March.
American actress, businesswoman and the former wife of legendary singer Elvis Presley – Priscilla Presley was seen dining out at Murphy’s Pakora Bar in the Finnieston area of Glasgow’s thriving West End.
Presley was described as a “lovely” customer by the staff who were shocked to see the famous figure at their very own restaurant.
Sharing the moment online, a statement by the restaurant read: “What an honour hosting Priscilla Presley and her team for dinner, one we certainly won’t forget. We would like to mention how lovely each and every one of you were. We hope you had a lovely evening. Thank you for choosing Murphy’s!”
Presley was in the city as part of her UK tour for ‘An Evening with Priscilla Presley’ which was held at the City Halls on Saturday, 1 April.
The event description read: “Priscilla is the former wife of Elvis Presley, as well as co-founder and former chairwoman of Elvis Presley Enterprises, the company that turned Graceland into one of the top tourist attractions in the USA. She has starred in many classic film and TV Series including ‘The Naked Gun’ and ‘Dallas’”.
