Faryal Makhdoom defends husband and former boxer Amir Khan after model accuses him of asking for revealing pictures

Former boxing star Amir Khan has yet again been embroiled in controversy after a model accused him of contacting and asking her to send explicit photos.
It was reported that Khan ‘begged’ 25-year-old Sumaira to send him revealing pictures and asked to meet her just a few days before his 10th wedding anniversary.
He allegedly first approached the bridal model on May 6 by complimenting her on her tattoos, but their chat quickly became saucy after Khan said, “U look good on g string” and asked her if she had a “boob job”.
36-year-old Khan was apparently aware that he was going behind his wife, Faryal Makhdoom’s back, and promised to delete all the pictures she would send adding, “Think I wana get caught out?”
Both Sumaira and Khan exchanged several messages and chatted about tattoos, she claimed in her videos uploaded on TikTok. The social media influencer also sent him a picture of herself clothed but showing roses on her midriff, to which the father-of-three replied, “Can’t stop looking.”
Khan said it was a “tattoo chat” as a form of reassurance and then asked for more pictures. He added, “It’s nothing I ain’t seen b4 . . . somebody’s body.”
It has been reported that he spoke to Sumaira on the phone to explain why he had contacted her as well.
She said, “We had a phone call and he said he and Faryal were not properly together and that it was a bit of a business arrangement.
“He said he was 36 and retired and that Faryal spent a lot of time in London. He spun me a bit of a sob story, and to begin with I felt sorry for him and thought he was lonely.”
He then stopped messaging her on May 8 after telling her that he was travelling back to London from Dubai.
Weeks later, Khan messaged her again on June 2, asking to meet up and join him for a night out in London. However, Sumaira was hesitant as she did not know his intentions and decided to ignore the messages.
She said, “I felt in my gut it would be a bad idea to go.”
Within days Khan began messaging Sumaira again, attempting to persuade her to send pictures of herself saying “Don’t worry I delete”.
Sumaira proceeded to send him a video of herself, to which he replied, “To much clothes.”
He then asked about her breasts and said, “Let’s see.” He added, “U look good on g string.”
After the model became suspicious of what she had been told about his marriage, they had an argument and stopped talking to each other.
Khan then came forward accusing the model of attempting to blackmail him by sending him racy pictures and asking him for £20,000 as she wanted to “fix her hand as one of her hands is bigger due to some problem and she always hides it”
The boxer said, “I said I can’t give you any money. Go get a job and it’s wrong if you want money.”
The Pakistani-origin striker added, “The reason she went to the paper was I didn’t want to give her money. Her story about her family disowning her did upset me but I knew she’s on the money thing and is a liar. I stopped messaging her.”
“I told her I am happily married. Not once did we speak about me and Faryal being together for the TV show. I think all my followers on socials know we are together and very happy. I reacted to the pictures out of the blue she sent me because I wanted to not upset her. But it wasn’t something you would take a look at twice. I also said to her sort your life out and that you are a Muslim girl. I’m sure your family will help you. She spoke ill about her family and why she didn’t live with them,” he added.
He further added that Sumaira had made up a lot of things to sell the story. He said, “I ended our conversation by telling her that I’m happily married. And yes in all relationships, you have ups and downs but we (Amir and Faryal) are cool in Dubai together with the kids. I feel sorry for people like Sumaira for what they do.”
Recently, Khan’s wife Faryal came forward and addressed the situation in an Instagram story stating: “Even when I was single I never gave a guy my number. Let alone a married one. Simple.”
Sumaira responded, “He gave me his number and told me a whole story on how/why you’re not actually together in reality.
“Even if I was married I wouldn’t let that run.
“If I was married to a man that was constantly cheating and telling other girls his marriage is just for show I’d leave with the kids instead of staying for this temporary ‘lifestyle’ and being rude to the girls and letting lies about them come out.
“Simple. Also he gave his number.”
The model then claimed that she was being threatened after receiving calls from an unknown phone number along with “random messages on WhatsApp, people trying to log into my accounts now”.
Meanwhile, Makhdoom has dismissed Sumaira’s threat claims, saying, “No friend of Amir’s has threatened her.”
